One of the oldest high altitude synoptic station in the region (from 1895). Very harsh climate, with extreme weather conditions. Station is situated at the top of the mountain, and represent the border between two climate types and border between two hydrological basins : Adriatic and Black see. Station is equipped with classical (old) meteorological instruments
