Sonnblick Observatory
Reference CryoNet Station Information
Sonnblick Observatory was established in 1886 with a main focus on meteorological observations, but also glaciological observations since the beginning. In the 1980s the observatory was renewed (power supply, access, house) which enabled to extend the monitoring to other environmental topics (trace gases, aerosols).
