Fluela permafrost station (FLU) Reference CryoNet Station Information
Permafrost measurements in 2 25m boreholes in mountain permafrost at Flüelapass (2340 m asl) above Davos, Switzerland. First permafrost research site in the Swiss Alps (Haeberli 1975). Boreholes drilled in 2002, instrumented with thermistor chains. Terrestrial laserscans of slope and neighbouring rock glacier annually since 2009. ERT measurements and seismics in 1975 and 2009-2012. Hourly photographs of site. IMIS weather station at site. Regular high resolution aerial photographs. The Flüela station is part of PERMOS (www.permos.ch).
